Green Hydrogen Systems and BWSC have inked a strategic collaboration agreement aimed at advancing green hydrogen projects.

The collaboration between Green Hydrogen Systems and BWSC is not entirely novel, as it builds upon their existing partnership in installing the X-Series prototype at GreenLab in Skive, Denmark. This prototype, boasting a capacity of 6 MW, marks a significant milestone in the journey towards green hydrogen production. Its successful operation underscores the technical prowess and collaborative spirit of both entities.

The strategic collaboration agreement sets the stage for a broader partnership, with the goal of offering full hydrogen plants ranging from 6 to 50 MW in key European markets. By leveraging Green Hydrogen Systems’ HyProvide X-Series module and BWSC’s engineering and construction expertise, the collaboration aims to streamline project development and execution, thereby enhancing the overall economics of hydrogen plants.

This collaboration holds promising implications for the hydrogen energy sector. By providing pre-engineered and optimized solutions for mid-scale hydrogen and Power-to-X projects, Green Hydrogen Systems and BWSC are poised to drive innovation and efficiency in the industry. Moreover, the reduction in project time and risk, coupled with improved economics, could catalyze the adoption of green hydrogen technology on a larger scale.

Both parties express optimism about the collaboration’s potential. Søren Rydbirk, Chief Commercial Officer at Green Hydrogen Systems, emphasizes the value of joint efforts and a collaborative mindset in accelerating project development. Dimitris Likouressis, Chief Commercial Officer at BWSC, underscores the complementarity of BWSC’s engineering capabilities with Green Hydrogen Systems’ technology, highlighting the synergy between the two entities.

The non-exclusive nature of the collaboration fosters an environment of openness and innovation within the green hydrogen sector. This flexibility allows both Green Hydrogen Systems and BWSC to explore similar partnerships with other entities, further driving progress and diversification in the industry.
