Tabangay shared how the company’s work centers around testing components under extreme conditions, identifying failure points, and ensuring that systems operate safely. It’s all about making sure that hydrogen can be integrated into everyday life without compromising safety.
One of their recent innovations is a high-pressure hydrogen trailer capable of carrying 1,000 kg of hydrogen, which makes the transport of hydrogen more efficient and economical. These trailers, however, need recertification every five years and have an expected lifespan of around 15 years. But the team at PowerTech is working on ways to extend that durability even further.
As hydrogen continues to gain traction globally, companies like PowerTech USA are at the forefront, working to make this clean energy transition both safe and practical for the future.
