H2EnergyNews.biz had the chance to visit H2MEET in South Korea, and we’re excited to bring you a glimpse of the buzzing atmosphere.

WATCH THE H2 MEET VLOG FROM SOUTH KOREA

It’s clear that South Korea is positioning itself as a major player in the hydrogen revolution, investing heavily in cutting-edge technologies that promise a cleaner future.

One of the standout companies we encountered was EN2CORE Technologies. They’re operating plasma reforming reactors that convert methane into synthetic gas, laying the foundation for hydrogen and sustainable fuel production.

The infrastructure for hydrogen-powered mobility is also expanding. We saw a dual fueling hydrogen charging station capable of generating 20 kg of hydrogen per day, designed to fuel a range of vehicle types.

H2 MEET wasn’t just about tech showcases—it was a hub of innovative ideas. Companies unveiled advancements in hydrogen solutions, particularly around safety standards and infrastructure for liquid hydrogen. While the market for liquid hydrogen is still cautious, there’s no doubt that the groundwork is being laid for significant growth.

We also got to see hydrogen’s practical applications in action, like hydrogen-powered drones.

Hyundai had a strong presence at the event as well. They revealed forward-thinking concepts for hydrogen-powered cities and shared innovative methods for hydrogen production. They’re pushing the boundaries, not just in urban design but also in heavy transport.

As H2 MEET wrapped up, there was a palpable sense of optimism about hydrogen’s future. The discussions were lively, with a lot of focus on technological advancements and the importance of collaboration within the industry.
