H2ERO project, a large-scale endeavor spearheaded by H2APEX will benefit from the European Commission’ green light to the Hy2Infra project.
With an expected investment volume of EUR 213 million and an electrolysis capacity of 100 MW, H2ERO is poised to become a key player in the green hydrogen landscape. Scheduled for regular operation in 2028, the plant aims to produce 7,000 to 8,000 tons of green hydrogen annually.
While H2APEX awaits grant notification from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection, the company remains optimistic about the prospects of securing funding for the H2ERO project.
The impending grant notification is expected to further solidify H2APEX’s position in the green hydrogen market and drive the realization of ambitious hydrogen projects across Europe.
