The decision-makers in Hamburg have made it their mission to position the Hamburg Metropolitan Region at the forefront of the hydrogen economy.
The initiative has received backing from both the national government and the Northern German hydrogen strategy. This will lead to the formation of a green hydrogen economy that has the capability to supply all large-scale consumers that are interested in the product.
Over two hundred and twenty businesses in the Hamburg Metropolitan Region are part of the Renewable Energy Hamburg (EEHH) Cluster. These businesses specialize in areas such as finance, research, production, project development, and legal guidance. EEHH provides a common meeting ground for interested parties from the worlds of business, science, and politics.
