Honeywell has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Green Solutions Group Corporation (TGS) to establish the Tra Vinh Green Hydrogen project.

Situated in the Mekong Delta, this initiative marks Vietnam’s inaugural foray into green hydrogen production, leveraging cutting-edge technologies and renewable energy sources to drive sustainable growth.

The Tra Vinh Green Hydrogen project represents a pivotal milestone in Vietnam’s transition towards a low-carbon economy and its commitment to achieving net zero emissions by 2050. Honeywell, renowned for its innovative solutions, will contribute its expertise in project automation design, energy management, and battery energy storage systems (BESS) to facilitate the integration of renewable energy sources into the green hydrogen plant. BESS technology plays a crucial role in stabilizing the grid, optimizing renewable energy utilization, and enabling uninterrupted green hydrogen production.

By harnessing renewable energy from TGS’s solar farms and wind power sources, the Tra Vinh plant aims to produce green hydrogen with minimal carbon footprint, thereby mitigating environmental degradation and fostering economic prosperity. The project aligns with Vietnam’s ambitious renewable energy targets, offering a blueprint for future investments in clean energy infrastructure. Moreover, it underscores Honeywell’s commitment to advancing environmental stewardship and driving positive social impact through innovation.
