HRS, Europe’s leading designer and manufacturer of hydrogen refueling stations, today announced that it has been awarded a contract by Hopium, the leading French manufacturer of high-end hydrogen-powered sedans, to supply and install a transportable dual-pressure hydrogen refueling station at the company’s test and development center.

This newest generation station, capable of refueling 200 kg of hydrogen every day, is designed to be readily dismantled and relocated, allowing it to be deployed in a variety of locations according to the manufacturer’s requirements.

It will be deployed and placed into service in the second half of 2022, according to HRS’ proven manufacturing capabilities and effective industrial organization. The station will be utilized to create the Hopium Machina, a hydrogen-powered automobile with a top speed of over 500 kilometers per hour and a range of more than 1,000 kilometers with a three-minute recharging period.
