HRS, a French manufacturer of hydrogen refueling stations, has installed seven new hydrogen stations over the past three months. These installations are located in France and internationally, marking an effort to expand its network and address the increasing demand for hydrogen fuel in transportation.
New High-Capacity Station
One of the notable installations is the company’s first large-capacity HRS40 station at the Champagnier site near Grenoble. This station can distribute one tonne of hydrogen daily and is expected to contribute significantly to low-carbon mobility solutions.
Upcoming Installations
By December 2024, HRS plans to install five more stations, bringing the total to 27 across Europe and other regions. The company’s first international expansion occurred in Saudi Arabia with an HRS14 station supporting buses and light vehicles. Additionally, HRS has contributed to logistics and public transport by setting up large-capacity stations in Dunkirk and mobile units for summer events in Paris.
Meeting Growing Demand
The installations underscore the growing demand for hydrogen fuel across sectors such as public transport, logistics, and commercial fleets. HRS’s evolving network now includes modular and high-capacity stations capable of refueling various vehicles, including buses, lorries, and refuse collection trucks.
