In order to build a 15 tonne per day clean hydrogen factory, HTEC has stated that it has entered into an agreement to buy industrial land in North Vancouver, British Columbia (BC).
In accordance with the contract with ERCO Worldwide, HTEC will acquire land, part of which ERCO will long-term lease back to continue its manufacturing operations, including the production of hydrogen gas as a by-product.
The property deal is anticipated to conclude in March 2023, subject to commercial closing conditions, with the goal of the hydrogen plant being operational by the end of 2025.
This is one of several hydrogen plants that HTEC has stated it intends to construct in the Canadian province to supply fuel for the expanding network of hydrogen refueling stations.
