Hydropolis United, a Polish subsidiary of Hydrogen Utopia International, has signed an agreement with the regional municipal waste management company RZZO (Regionalny Zaklad Zagospodarowania Odpadów).

Incorporating Powerhouse Energy Group Plc (PHE) DMG technology, HUI’s waste plastic to hydrogen process converts end-of-life plastics into a renewable energy source that is safe for the environment. It is possible to adapt the systems to the specifics and characteristics of each location. In a 1.5-hectare area, the plant can be easily attached to existing waste treatment facilities.

Non-exclusive rights for the rest of the world have been acquired by HUI for the marketing of PHE DMG technology in Hungary, Poland and Greece. I

Subject to the final contract, RZZO has agreed to provide a plot of land at one of its facilities with the necessary utilities to operate a HUI waste plastic to hydrogen plant, all necessary assistance with the permitting of the site, and waste plastic feedstock for the operation of the system under the LOI. Up to 40 tonnes of plastic waste per day will be processed at RZZO, which will also produce 2-3 tonnes of hydrogen per day, as well as electricity and heat, through the use of a planned installation.
