Following a recent steering committee meeting, the Hyzon Zero Carbon Alliance welcomed Iljin Hysolus as its newest member.
From production to technological development, from innovation to investment, the Alliance brings together active participants along the hydrogen value chain.
Organizations with active, proven hydrogen-related operations are invited to join. By doing so, the Alliance maintains its singular emphasis on cooperatively increasing hydrogen-powered vehicle adoption and the expansion of the hydrogen economy ecosystem through strategic alliances and a unified industry approach.

Iljin Hysolus has vast experience manufacturing hydrogen storage tanks and modules, which are a vital component in installing fuel cell electric vehicles and hydrogen stations reliably and safely. The company is the only mass-producer of hydrogen tube trailers in South Korea, and it is best known for being the exclusive provider of hydrogen tubes for Hyundai Motor’s premier hydrogen passenger vehicle, the Nexo. Iljin Hysolus recently joined the hydrogen storage systems industry by acquiring global accreditation for its Type 4 hydrogen tube trailers, and on September 1, 2021, the company completed its Initial Public Offering in Seoul. The company’s devotion to research and development has kept it at the forefront of the hydrogen market since its establishment in 1999, in addition to its reputation for product quality and reliability. For the Alliance, this accelerates the introduction of commercially viable hydrogen mobility options around the world.
Ark Energy (a subsidiary of Korea Zinc), TotalEnergies, AXA, Bank of America, Hiringa Energy, Modern Group, NEOM, Raven SR, ReCarbon, and Woodside Energy are among the Alliance’s 10 current members.

The Hyzon Zero Carbon Alliance, as a demand-driven effort, wants to use its direct connection to fleet operators around the world to establish hydrogen ecosystems in parallel with vehicle deployments. Members’ fleet deals, such as those between Hyzon and TotalEnergies and Hyzon and Ark Energy, are examples of the genuine hydrogen mobility cross-ecosystem deployments that the Alliance is working to enable.
