Union Minister Pralhad Joshi emphasized the need to engage startups in the green hydrogen sector to bring new ideas and involve youth. He noted that more than 120 exhibitors and over 150 national and international speakers will attend the event scheduled for September 11-13, 2024, in Delhi.
Need for Fresh Talent and Innovation
Joshi highlighted that the green hydrogen mission requires startups’ participation to inject fresh talent and innovative solutions. The Indian government has allocated Rs 19,744 crore to advance the green hydrogen mission.
Event Highlights
The event will feature over 120 stalls showcasing products and technology related to green hydrogen. It is organized by the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy in collaboration with the Office of the Principal Scientists, Government of India, and Ficci and Solar Energy Corporation of India as event partners.
International Collaboration
The European Union, Australia, Singapore, and the Netherlands are the regions of interest, with dedicated sessions for each. This highlights a significant focus on international cooperation in the green hydrogen sector.
