Due to its conducive climatic circumstances, India might be the world’s cheapest producer of Green Hydrogen, according to NITI Aayog CEO Amitabh Kant.

Kant stated at an interactive session at the Raisina Dialogue that India had reduced the cost of renewable energy.

“India is a large country with a large population. India has the potential to be the world’s cheapest producer of green hydrogen. India is the only country with favorable climatic conditions to accomplish so “he stated

While noting that China lacks the climatic conditions to become the cheapest Green Hydrogen generator, Kant stated that India will have to compete with Middle Eastern countries.

He stated that India will be the world’s capital in Green Hydrogen generation, despite the fact that the country is a significant user of the fuel.

The long-term solution to the world, according to Kant, does not lay in batteries. “The world cannot be reliant on a single country managing the world’s lithium, cobalt, and nickel resources,” he said.

Second, he recognized that in terms of creating a cleaner environment for the future, they will generate their own complexity.
