In Oedong-eup, Gyeongju-si, Korea Southern Power will construct a 28.8 megawatt (MW) hydrogen fuel cell and charging station.
With Gyeongju City and Junghwa, Korea Southern Power signed a Memorandum of Understanding for joint promotion of the hydrogen complex construction project.
This project will invest 173 billion won to construct a 28.8MW class hydrogen fuel cell and a hydrogen charging station in Munsan-ri, Oedong-eup, Gyeongju-si.
Companies intend to conduct a feasibility study to jointly develop a win-win model for the hydrogen complex construction project and secure resident acceptance, and then proceed with the hydrogen charging station and fuel cell business through government consultation procedures such as power generation business license and construction plan approval in April of next year.
