Large-scale hydrogen-producing wind farm to be built in Cerro Dragón


This Wednesday, a historic announcement was made regarding the energy future of the Province of Chubut and also of the whole country.

Marcos Bulgheroni, CEO of Pan American, made the announcement, which was later highlighted by the mayor of Comodoro Rivadavia, Juan Pablo Luque.

Through his social networks, the local mayor celebrated the construction of a large-scale wind farm that will produce hydrogen in Cerro Dragón.

“We celebrate that in the area where oil was discovered in the country, they are betting on renewable energies, in a region where its potential in this activity has been demonstrated”, said Luque.

Subsequently, he highlighted that this wind farm is very important. “Thinking about the future, without neglecting the hydrocarbon present and the labor activity of a thriving region”, he concluded.
