French Lhyfe and Norwegian Hexagon Purus have formed a commercial partnership for the delivery of green and renewable hydrogen in Europe.
The parties to the agreement agreed to work together to deliver the type 4 hydrogen distribution systems from Hexagon Purus. In exchange, Lhyfe will be able to supply up to 19 tons of green hydrogen per trip, or about 650 transit buses’ worth.
This summer, Norwegian Hydrogen, a firm in which Hexagon Purus is one of the main shareholders, received an investment from the Japanese trading corporation Mitsui & Co. of NOK 70 million (about $7 million).
In terms of Lhyfe’s most recent efforts, the company established a strategic alliance with engineering company Gaussin earlier this month to hasten the development of hydrogen mobility at port, airport, and logistics facilities.
