LOC Singapore has received a contract from PowerChina HuaDong Engineering (PCH) to provide marine warranty survey (MWS) services for Phase I of Binh Dai offshore wind farm in Vietnam.
LOC will provide MWS services of the proposed support fleet, along with other marine vessel inspection and marine assurance services.
The 310 MW Binh Dai offshore wind farm will comprise 74 wind turbines supplied by Siemens Gamesa and Goldwind.
Phase I of the wind farm will comprise seven Siemens Gamesa turbines.
The consortium of PowerChina Huadong Engineering and PowerChina International is the EPC contractor for the project.
The wind farm is being developed by the Mekong Wind Power Joint Stock Company, a special purpose company owned by Thailand’s Gulf Energy Development Public Co.
