Logan Energy has reached a significant agreement with Norwegian energy company Moreld to develop hydrogen power projects.
In order to both fuel and decarbonize industry in the area, Logan Energy and Moreld will work together to connect production facilities with regional renewable energy sources directly. It is envisaged that Logan Energy will provide the technological solutions, and Moreld will offer building assistance and local market knowledge.
With the opportunity to expand the collaboration to additional countries, the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) will see the Scottish company provide hydrogen solutions for the Norwegian and Scandinavian energy markets.
The energy transformation issue has been spearheaded by the Nordic and Scandinavian markets. The area is undoubtedly decades ahead of other markets because it places a strong emphasis on renewable energy. The Nordic region boasts the highest percentage of renewable energy in the world and historically the lowest electricity costs in Europe.
