Loop Energy has announced that it would present its “next-generation” fuel cell systems on September 19-20, 2022, in an effort to increase the deployment of hydrogen-powered medium and heavy-duty vehicles.
The Canadian company’s newest product will be unveiled at the IAA Transportation in Hannover, Germany, with a 120kW output and ‘industry-leading’ features, according to the company’s description.
Loop’s planned product launch follows many deployments of its existing fuel cell modules to several manufacturers of hydrogen-powered vehicles in Europe and Australia in 2022 alone.
Loop Energy and Slovakian bus maker Mobility & Innovation (M&I) had reached the scale-up phase, with M&I ordering 10 additional 30kW fuel cell devices in addition to its first purchase.
