In order to hasten the growth of the regional hydrogen industry, Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (MHI) and the State Government of South Australia signed a Statement of Cooperation.
The following are some of the issues that MHI will suggest solutions for: expanding a globally competitive hydrogen export sector through the creation of a hydrogen export strategy and strategic partnerships; encouraging technological advancements and new business opportunities through research partnerships; undertaking projects that hasten the creation of extensive industrial decarbonization programs; and creating near-term Australian domestic markets through the creation of a hydrogen industry association.
MHI Group seeks to support the state’s economic growth and the realization of a sustainable society by advancing the industrial decarbonization of South Australia and developing a hydrogen value chain.
