Mitsubishi Power has inked a deal with National Refining & Petrochemicals Company to improve hydrogen-fueled technologies.
Mitsubishi Power will engineer and design the ANRPC refinery facility under this arrangement.
By the end of 2023, the plant should run entirely on hydrogen, according to the proposal.
In addition, it will lower Egypt’s carbon impact by 22,000 tons per year, in line with the country’s sustainability targets.
