Moleaer issued the first of several patents to implement its proprietary nanobubble technology for electrolytic processes. The goal? To enhance the energy efficiency of hydrogen production.

Moleaer’s unique electrolytic process technologies are set to revolutionize both the supply and demand facets of the green hydrogen economy. The implementation of these technologies within Water Electrolysis has resulted in a remarkable 17% rise in current density at 2-volts, leading to increased hydrogen output without the addition of extra energy. Consequently, this innovation helps to produce green hydrogen in a much more economically efficient way.

The technology also brings significant enhancements to Fuel Cells. In Proton Exchange Membrane (PEM) Fuel Cells, Moleaer’s technology ups the limiting current density by over 20%, dramatically reducing the cost of transforming hydrogen into electricity.

These crucial technological strides open up new horizons for decreasing the overall cost of producing green hydrogen, aligning with the ambitious objectives laid out by the White House and the Department of Energy’s “Hydrogen Shot” scheme. This initiative aims to cut the cost of hydrogen by a staggering 80%, escalating hydrogen usage by five-fold, and diminishing carbon dioxide emissions by 16%.

With the intention to disrupt the green hydrogen and fuel cell industries, Moleaer anticipates introducing these pioneering solutions by 2024. At present, Moleaer is engaging in preliminary discussions with key industry players to introduce its proprietary electrolytic processes to the market.
