Rheingas supplies green hydrogen to German festivals
This year, Rheingas, a group of enterprises and a major supplier of sustainable energy solutions with its headquarters located in Brühl, Germany, showcased its proficiency in comprehensive and decentralized hydrogen supply by supplying green hydrogen to four well-known festivals in the country. This emphasizes Rheingas’ dedication to renewable energy and its part in building a more sustainable future.
The provision was created in cooperation with partner companies that offered fuel cells; the requirements of the events were diverse.
Odisha approves three green hydrogen projects
As part of an industrial push that saw approvals issued to 12 industrial projects in total, the state government of Odisha has approved three hydrogen projects to support the green hydrogen and green ammonia industry in the state. The projects total investment of ₹85,000 crore, of which the hydrogen projects make up slightly more than half.
The High Level Clearance Authority of the state, presided over by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, approved the projects. With a total investment of ₹19,000 crore, ReNew E-Fuels Pvt Ltd has been given permission to launch two green methanol and hydrogen plants in the eastern state.
In the Kendrapada district, Welspun New Energy Ltd was given permission to establish a 700,000 metric tons per year green ammonia factory. According to officials, the project will require an investment of less than ₹14,000 crore.
Gujarat delegation visits Yamanashi Hydrogen Company
A delegation from Gujarat, led by Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, paid a visit to Governor Kotari Naagasaki of Yamanashi prefecture in Japan.
The delegation saw a demonstration of green hydrogen supply, selling, and maintenance at Yamanashi Hydrogen Company. The team attended a presentation on Japan’s latest efforts in the field of green hydrogen. Yamanashi will be present at the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024, which is set for January of the following year.
