Morocco has unveiled ambitious plans to construct a 5,600km hydrogen pipeline that will traverse 11 West African countries.
The primary objective of this project is to facilitate the production and transportation of green hydrogen from West African nations to Europe. The pipeline is expected to play a crucial role in accelerating green hydrogen production in West Africa, allowing for both local consumption and exportation to Europe.
The proposed hydrogen pipeline will utilize state-of-the-art technology to ensure the efficient and safe transportation of green hydrogen. The pipeline will be equipped with advanced pressure and temperature control systems to maintain the purity and stability of the hydrogen.
The project is expected to have a significant impact on the economies of the participating countries, creating employment opportunities and stimulating economic growth. It is also expected to contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and promote a sustainable and decarbonized future.
