H2 Energy has placed a purchase order with Nel Hydrogen Electrolyser for a 2 MW completely containerized MC400 electrolyser.

The 2 MW PEM electrolyser is the second device to be delivered as part of the green hydrogen infrastructure network, which is currently supplying hydrogen to the first 46 Hyundai trucks in service in Switzerland, with a fleet of 1,600 Hyundai trucks expected to be operational by 2025. The device would fill 350 barg trailers on site and transport the hydrogen to Switzerland’s Hydrospider network.

H2 Energy is collaborating with a number of partners to construct a nationwide network of hydrogen stations and the associated supply chain in Switzerland and abroad. H2 Energy is concentrating on generating hydrogen from renewable energy sources in order to aid in the decarbonization of different industries.

“This is a new milestone achieved in the development of a commercial green hydrogen infrastructure, clearly showing that hydrogen for heavy duty vehicles is a reality today. We are proud that our compact PEM containerized solution has been selected for this second site to supply the refueling stations network.”
