Nel Hydrogen Electrolyser, a subsidiary of Nel ASA, has secured a significant contract to provide 20 MW of alkaline electrolyser equipment for a hydrogen project in Port-La-Nouvelle, France.
The project, led by Hyd’Occ and backed by Qair and AREC Occitanie, aims to establish a high-capacity hydrogen production unit that will supply renewable hydrogen to industries and transportation in southern France. This collaboration marks a crucial milestone in France’s hydrogen ecosystem and positions Port-La-Nouvelle as a key hub for hydrogen activities in the Mediterranean region.
The 20 MW alkaline electrolyser from Nel will play a vital role in delivering renewable hydrogen to local industries and transportation in southern France.
