RelyOn Nutec will start using a new training center in Eemshaven at the start of 2023. This center can also teach people how to handle hydrogen at a later date.

With this, the company wants to be able to meet the growing demand from both the onshore and offshore wind industries, which are both growing. Eemshaven is a good place for a new training center because it’s near a lot of wind farms in the North Sea. Emmahaven and Groningen Seaports worked together to find a place that was good for both of them. They are going to start building a new center in March 2022.

RelyOn Nutec wants to help make hydrogen safety training more important. People want to be able to add hydrogen training to the new training center in the future, so they can learn more about it. There will also be opportunities for research and testing, even for other groups that may already be in the area.
