This initiative aims to decarbonize the asphalt and cement production industry while pioneering nuclear-derived hydrogen production.

In a recent development, the Ministry of Energy and Minerals took part in a technical workshop titled “Methods of Underground Energy Storage” on September 13, 2023. The event, described in a statement by the Specialized Energy Platform, explored Oman’s potential in underground hydrogen storage, leveraging its geological features like salt domes and porous rock formations.

‘Element One’  project has received a substantial grant of £4,872,653 from the UK Government’s Department for Energy Security and Net Zero, signifying a profound commitment to transitioning towards cleaner energy sources in the construction industry.

ACWA Power operates across the Middle East, Europe, Central Asia, and Africa, making this agreement a crucial step in advancing sustainable energy initiatives.
