The Nordex Group has received a 24 MW order from its regular customer Sancak Enerji, for the Baglar-3 wind farm in Turkey.

Nordex will supply five N133/4800 wind turbines. The order also contains a plan for Premium Service throughout a ten-year period.

The Baglar-3 wind farm will be installed in the province of Konya, near its provincial capital of the same name, some 200 kilometers south of Ankara. Due to the very humid and cold winters at the site, the Nordex Group will supply the Cold Climate Version (CCV) turbines.

The N133/4800 will be mounted on tubular steel towers with a hub height of 110 meters. With an average annual wind speed of 8 meters per second, these powerful wind turbines are suitable for this location.

The installation will commence in the summer of 2021. The Nordex Group will buy locally in Turkey rotor blades, anchor cages and turbine towers. As a result of this local development, Sancak Enerji–like all Nordex Group customers in Turkey –will benefit from higher feed-in tariffs.
