Nuvera Fuel Cells, a recognized player in the creation of high-efficiency, zero-emission fuel cell solutions, has secured a subsequent order for an E-Series Fuel Cell Engine from DEVINN, a European systems integrator.

The latest order will service a stationary client project, linking Nuvera’s fuel cell tech with on-site electrolyzer to yield clean electricity for the grid. This is part of proof-of-concept phase for a larger project aiming to amplify green hydrogen production and electricity generation.

DEVINN plans it’s fuel cell installation in the next generation H2BASE generator, unveiled in 2020. The mobile version of the generator has since been providing clean electricity, primarily to outdoor events within and outside Czech Republic.

In 2022, DEVINN deployed a Nuvera E-60 engine in their H2BOT semi-autonomous battery electric vehicle charging unit, with backing from the European Union. Nuvera offered DEVINN a zero-emission option for a mobile, independent electrical power source.

These implementations situate fuel cells as a strong enabler for the European Union to meet it’s decarbonization goals. Building on its 30-year experience operating in Europe, Nuvera is helping steer the EU’s transition to clean energy. Aiding it’s progression in Europe is Nuvera’s strategic relationship with customer such as DEVINN, complemented by Fuel Cells Europe’s infrastructural presence and range of capabilities.
