Ohmium International, a leading green hydrogen company, has announced a strategic partnership with Aquastill to leverage their modular membrane distillation technology for the production of green hydrogen from desalinated seawater.

This groundbreaking collaboration aims to create new opportunities for decarbonization while providing businesses in coastal and rural areas with efficient, sustainable, and affordable clean energy solutions.

Aquastill, a pioneer in modular membrane distillation technology, utilizes waste heat for desalination processes. By harnessing the residual heat from Ohmium’s advanced PEM electrolyzers, Aquastill’s sustainable technology not only enhances the desalination process but also provides additional cooling capabilities for the electrolyzers.

The integration of Aquastill’s desalination capabilities with Ohmium’s modular PEM electrolyzers opens up new avenues for businesses operating in coastal and rural areas. These businesses will now have access to a more efficient and sustainable method of generating clean energy. The partnership aims to facilitate green hydrogen production at-source by co-locating PEM electrolyzers with offshore wind turbine farms, offering a cost-effective solution for harnessing the potential of renewable energy sources.

The strategic collaboration between Ohmium International and Aquastill not only paves the way for innovative decarbonization opportunities but also accelerates the adoption of green hydrogen across various sectors. By leveraging Aquastill’s membrane distillation technology and Ohmium’s expertise in PEM electrolyzers, the partnership aims to drive the transition to a more sustainable and carbon-neutral future.

This partnership holds the potential to revolutionize the production of green hydrogen, contributing to global efforts to mitigate climate change and reduce carbon emissions. With the combination of cutting-edge technologies and a shared commitment to sustainability, Ohmium and Aquastill are poised to make a significant impact on the energy landscape, unlocking new possibilities for clean energy generation and decarbonization.
