OWC’s involvement with ScottishPower Renewables’ East Anglia ONE project dates back to 2013, and the global consultant is still involved today as the 714 MW offshore wind farm completes the final commissioning with all her 102 Siemens Gamesa 7 MW turbines now operational.
OWC started by developing the ground model and applied its SI LIVE 1.0 tool to the offshore site investigation (SI) campaign, which was linked to real-time ground modeling. This resulted in significant savings (greater than £4.0m) for the project.
