Hydrogen Systems, based in Saudi Arabia, and PDC Machines, LLC, a leading U.S. manufacturer of specialty gas compression systems used in all stages of the hydrogen energy supply chain, including hydrogen production, transportation, storage, and refueling, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU).
CEO of Hydrogen Systems Sattam Alsuwailem said, “This MOU will look into investments in the region to set up technology platforms for localization and manufacturing of products related to the hydrogen economy. This is in line with The Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals for more local manufacturing in hydrogen markets.” Hydrogen Systems recently announced the creation of a Hydrogen Energy Center of Excellence (COE), and this agreement is a great addition to The COE. I hope we can work together for a long time and both of us do well.”
Under the terms of the MOU, Hydrogen Systems and PDC Machines will work together to create a variety of hydrogen infrastructure solutions, such as hydrogen compression for clean hydrogen production, the development of local manufacturing of hydrogen-related products, stationary hydrogen refueling stations for vehicles and material handling equipment, a SimpleFuelTM hydrogen refueler, and other equipment to support the growing hydrogen economy.
