Plug Power has achieved a significant milestone by completing the first fill of a Plug tanker with liquid green hydrogen at its Woodbine, Georgia production plant.
This accomplishment, coming just one week after the plant’s official commencement of operations, sets the stage for a paradigm shift in the green hydrogen economy.

At the heart of this achievement lies Plug Power’s advanced technology, featuring eight 5-megawatt (MW) electrolyzers – the largest proton exchange membrane (PEM) electrolyzer deployment in the U.S. These electrolyzers facilitate the production of up to 15 tons per day of liquid green hydrogen. The company’s sophisticated cryogenic and liquefaction capabilities ensure the safe and efficient transportation of green hydrogen to customer sites.
