Quantron AG renowned for their sustainable transportation solutions, released an intriguing whitepaper, “Unlocking New Possibilities: Waste-to-Hydrogen as an Energy Source for Fuel Cell Vehicles”.

It examines the crucial role of waste-to-hydrogen technology in the burgeoning hydrogen economy, along with its environmental and financial advantages. The report also highlights six chosen partners from QUANTRON’s Clear Transportation Alliance who are pioneering in waste-to-hydrogen tech and plant setups.

BtX Energy GmbH is a proud original members of the Clean Transportation Alliance based in Hof, Bavaria. It recently made news by being the first in Europe to acquire certification for biogenic origin hydrogen that’s eligible for GHG quota. This exemplifies BtX Energy’s commitment to sustainable, eco-friendly hydrogen production.

Andy Gradel, Managing Director, BtX, expressed his excitement about teaming up with QUANTRON to supply hydrogen for hydrogen fuel cell vehicles like the QLI FCEV. This is the primary vehicle in the 7.5-ton segment.

Dr. Srinath Rengarajan, Head of Strategy at QUANTRON, is excited about their progression as a platform provider for zero-emission transportation solutions. One such strategy is collaborating with partners like BtX Energy who produce clean hydrogen from biogenic waste. QUANTRON looks forward to nurturing decentralized ecosystems that can maximize hydrogen’s potential, including its use in fuel cell vehicles.

Andreas Haller, CEO, and Founder of QUANTRON, is delighted to collaborate with the Clean Transportation Alliance members. Partners like BtX Energy contribute to the growth of hydrogen as a sustainable energy source for mobility. Haller aims to create ecosystems through their partnership, supporting the use of renewable energies and reducing carbon emissions in the transportation sector.

QUANTRON, by promoting intelligent collaborations and sustainable solutions, is a substantial player in the future of clean, efficient transportation.
