LAVO welcomed the Queensland Government’s “Invest in Queensland” program’s funding announcement today to enable the construction of their hydrogen fuel cell technology manufacturing facility in Springfield, QLD.
Nedstack Australia Pty Ltd, a joint venture between LAVO Hydrogen Storage Technology Pty Ltd and Nedstack of the Netherlands, will create the project, which is scheduled to begin construction in 2022.
The joint venture will begin by manufacturing proton-exchange membrane (PEM) fuel cell technology for use in LAVO’s revolutionary Hydrogen Energy Storage System (HESS). The factory will expand to manufacture a variety of fuel cells in order to meet the expanding domestic and worldwide demand for hydrogen.
