Salzgitter switches from coal to hydrogen

The German steelmaker hopes to reduce CO2 emissions by 95% by 2050, and believes that steel created from green hydrogen would help them achieve this goal.

It would replace the company’s annual consumption of 2.5 million tons of coal.
