The Arturo Merino Bentez airport in Santiago de Chile stated that it aims to be the first in Latin America to include green hydrogen in its operations as part of the worldwide struggle against climate change and the planet’s decarbonization.
The terminal’s operator, Nuevo Pudahuel, said that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Air Liquide, Colbn, and Copec to introduce this carbon-free fuel into Chile’s main airport’s operations.
