According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi cabinet has assigned the Kingdom’s energy minister to negotiate and sign a prospective Memorandum of Understanding with China in the field of hydrogen energy, citing the cabinet’s weekly statement.

Additionally, the cabinet allowed the Minister of Health to consider and sign a draft agreement with the World Economic Forum to promote prudent health care.

Saudi Arabia has committed to reaching net zero emissions by 2060, without jeopardizing its status as the world’s largest oil producer, with the Crown Prince announcing a decade-long climate action investment of SR700 billion ($187 billion).
