SFC Energy begins a development partnership with Austria’s Test-Fuchs and Switzerland’s Auto AG Group.
The three companies want to work together to create a mobile, zero-emission hydrogen generator. In the first half of the year, a prototype (H2Genset) will be built.
Test-Fuchs specializes in hydrogen refueling and valve technology. The Auto AG Group has evolved into a commercial vehicle service provider with experience in fuel cell vehicle maintenance.
“The H2Genset is the logical and consistent continuation of our approach of replacing diesel generators with emission-free hydrogen technology,” says Peter Podesser, CEO of SFC Energy.
“We are firmly convinced that hydrogen is the future,” says Volker Fuchs, CEO of Test-Fuchs, “and together with our partners, we will seize the great market opportunities in the generator sector.” “We see hydrogen not only as a future drive concept, but also as an elementary component of a climate-neutral energy supply,” says Marc Ziegler, CEO of the Auto AG Group. As a result, it is only natural for us to make a significant contribution here.”
