The final approval needed to proceed with construction of its carbon-neutral green hydrogen generation facility has been granted to SGH2 Energy Global Corporation.

Recently, the City of Lancaster Planning Commission granted the SGH2 permission to use its property. It also received its environmental impact statement at that time (CEQA). The engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) and full investment decision (FID) phases of the green hydrogen production facility project have received these clearances.

In addition to producing renewable hydrogen, the green hydrogen plant itself emits little pollutants.

The environmentally friendly hydrogen plant will highlight SGH2’s ground-breaking Solena Plasma Enhanced Gasification (SPEG) technology. Recycling mixed paper trash allows SPEG to produce clean, carbon-negative H2. Compared to traditionally produced renewable H2, this approach reduces CO2 emissions by two to three times.
