Sungrow and CEEC have completed the largest energy storage project in Central Asia.

This significant achievement took place in Uzbekistan, specifically in the Peshkun Solar Power Plant located in the Bukhara region. The project was a collaborative effort between Sungrow, a leading global provider of renewable energy solutions, and CEEC, a major engineering corporation.

The energy storage system holds a capacity of 97 MWh, making it the most substantial installation of its kind in the region. The development is part of a larger initiative to enhance Uzbekistan’s renewable energy infrastructure. It aims to stabilize the grid, manage power distribution more effectively, and supply electricity reliably to its users.

Sungrow supplied advanced energy storage products for this project, leveraging its extensive experience and technical expertise in renewable energy. The company’s solutions are recognized for their efficiency and reliability, which played a crucial role in the project’s success.

CEEC was responsible for the engineering, procurement, and construction aspects of the project. Their contribution ensured the energy storage system was integrated seamlessly into the existing power infrastructure, maximizing its potential and effectiveness.
