Tata Power Renewable Energy has received a letter of award from Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam (GUVNL) to develop a 120 MW solar project in Gujarat.
The energy will be supplied to GUVNL under a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), effective for a period of 25 years from the scheduled commercial operation date. The project has to be commissioned within 18 months from the date the PPA is executed.

The project is expected to produce about 300 MUs of energy per year and will offset about 300 million kilograms of CO2 annually.
