Taxi Verts, a firm based in Brussels, just put into service the city’s first hydrogen-powered vehicle.
Eoly-Energy, a firm working in the field of renewable energy, assisted the business in the launch of their prototype vehicle. Hydrogen taxis will be tested in a year-long trial program designed to evaluate the vehicles’ viability in dense metropolitan environments.
When Taxi Vets debuts its prototype, it will be powered by hydrogen that has been manufactured entirely from renewable energy. In addition, the hydrogen taxi will have two drivers who have received instruction from Eoly on how to operate the vehicle and its hydrogen fuel cell.
