OPG supports Ontario in Building the Hydrogen Economy (CNW Group/Ontario Power Generation Inc.)

UK-based companies can apply for a share of £2.5 million to demonstrate how green hydrogen can be used to power end-user transportation solutions.

The Department of Transport will collaborate with Innovate UK, a division of UK Research and Innovation, to invest up to £2.5 million in innovative projects.

This competition will assist the United Kingdom in better understanding how hydrogen can support the long-term development of the Tees Valley Hydrogen Transport Hub (HTH) and drive demand to decarbonize the transportation system.

This investment will support hydrogen-powered vehicle demonstrations in real-world operational settings throughout Tees Valley.

The total eligible costs of the project must be between £200,000 and £1 million.
