In response to increasing demand for hydrogen internal combustion engines (H2-ICE), Tenneco has expanded its testing capabilities. This is aimed at tackling the challenges presented by hard-to-abate industrial sectors such as agriculture, construction, and heavy-duty trucking.
Tenneco has added two test cells to its existing H2-ICE test facility in Burscheid, Germany. Additionally, a new test cell has been launched in Ann Arbor, Michigan. To further bolster its research capabilities, Tenneco has also opened a unique hydrogen materials test laboratory in Nuremberg, Germany. These expansions reinforce Tenneco’s position as a technology leader in developing hydrogen propulsion solutions.

The company’s expansion highlights its commitment to advancing H2-ICE critical components and reducing carbon emissions.
