CPH2.L’s MFE110 electrolyzer system successful
After a comprehensive set of tests and setup procedures, Clean Power Hydrogen (CPH2.L) reported the successful functioning of its MFE110 electrolyzer system, proving its ability to efficiently produce distinct hydrogen and oxygen gases as predicted.
The MFE110 system will be moved to a Northern Ireland Water facility after the last tests are finished. Here, the commercial production of hydrogen and medical-grade oxygen is scheduled to start after a sequence of site verifications, integrations, and last-minute setup tasks.
John Risley claims wind-hydrogen proposal delay is not alarming
Newfoundlanders and Labrador residents shouldn’t be alarmed by a postponement in the company’s proposal to produce wind energy in western Newfoundland, according to the chairman of World Energy GH2.
A decision regarding World Energy GH2’s plan to erect a hydrogen-ammonia plant and at least 328 wind turbines on the Port au Port Peninsula and Codroy Valley was postponed on Wednesday. The company was instructed by Environment Minister Bernard Davis to furnish additional details regarding a number of potential consequences.
Davis outlined the areas in a letter to the corporation, citing emergency and contingency preparations, evaluating the project’s possible and cumulative effects, and water consumption and monitoring.
Blackburn College to train students in hydrogen FCEVs
As of right now, Blackburn College is the “first” further education facility in England to train students in hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicles, or FCEVs.
In order to better prepare students and other members of the local automotive sector for the rise in demand for alternative vehicles, the college introduced its fully interactive, hydrogen-powered Toyota Mirai training rig.
The college’s Hybrid Electric Automotive Training (HEAT) facility, which opened a year ago (2022), is committed to creating and providing training to close skill shortages for environmentally friendly vehicle technologies, including hybrid, electric, and now hydrogen. The training solution is the newest addition to this facility.
