Grenzland Bürgerenergie receives more electrolyzers from H-TEC

Four PEM electrolyzers, Type ME450, totaling 4MW in volume, are being supplied by H-TEC SYSTEMS to the Grenzland Bürgerenergie eG for their “Grenzland Energie Kompakt” project.

The chance to extend its partnership with the Grenzland Bürgerenergie Cooperative makes H-TEC Systems very happy. In Westre, North Frisia, close to the Danish border, the Schleswig-Holstein “Grenzland Energie Kompakt” initiative seeks to map the whole hydrogen value chain sustainably and establish a functional regional hydrogen market based on green hydrogen. H-TEC SYSTEMS is providing the Grenzland Bürgerenergie eG with four ME450 PEM electrolyzers, each with a maximum daily capacity of 1.8 t of hydrogen and an overall output of 4 MW, in order to carry out this project.

ERM supports Equinor’s H2H Saltend blue hydrogen project

The largest sustainability consulting firm in the world, ERM, helped Equinor secure planning permission to build and run the H2H Saltend blue hydrogen factory in the UK’s Humber. ERM established an integrated task force with expertise in planning, permitting, and safety to aid in obtaining consent.

One of the first plants of its kind to receive planning permission in the UK is Equinor’s 600 megawatt low carbon hydrogen generation plant with carbon capture, called the H2H Saltend facility. H2H Saltend, which is slated to go online at the end of the decade and is located in the energy-intensive Saltend Chemicals Park, is expected to contribute to a third of the park’s emissions reduction.

Ingeteam solidifies its position in hydrogen industry

Ingeteam solidifies its position as a pioneer in the renewable hydrogen industry. It has a portfolio of more than 400 MW of awarded projects scheduled for delivery in 2024, in addition to the projects that have already been put into service within the past 18 months. The projects are spread over the globe, including locations in Germany, Spain, Australia, Canada, the United States, and other European nations.

Currently, Ingeteam’s rectifiers in factories in Belgium, Spain, and the United States feed various PEM and alkaline electrolysers, producing renewable hydrogen for various uses. In the first half of 2024, supplies for two additional projects will be made to Spain and the US.
