TPP “Bobov dol” was granted permission to build a photovoltaic park for the generation of renewable hydrogen.

The facility can run on this fuel with no worry about polluting emissions. The facility now runs on coal and biomass, although efforts are underway to broaden its fuel base.

A thermal power plant slag dump near the town of Kamenik will become a photovoltaic park covering an area of around 1,400 decares. The solar panels, supporting structures, and other components required have all been ordered from the chosen provider. The shipments will start in the month of November. By 2025, the entire park should be finished.
