ReNu Energy secures funding for green hydrogen

ReNu Energy Limited has successfully obtained solid commitments to issue 45.5 million new shares at a price of $0.011 each in order to raise $500,000 through a share placement. This infusion of money, which was obtained from knowledgeable and experienced investors, comes after the recent 1 for 2.46 pro rata non-renounceable entitlement offer that ended on December 8, 2023.

The money obtained from this placement and the entitlement offer will be used for basic working capital requirements as well as the advancement of ReNu Energy’s flagship green hydrogen projects in Tasmania. In this placement, PAC Partners Securities Pty Ltd was the Lead Manager, and they were crucial.

The planned issuance of these additional shares on December 14, 2023, will take place without the need for shareholder consent.


Nel sells Everfuel shares

Nel ASA, the Norwegian hydrogen expert, is selling its shares in Everfuel in addition to investing in the US automaker Nikola. Since Nel was Everfuel’s second-largest stakeholder, a bidder for the share package has already been identified; he is a Japanese national. Nel’s cash position is strengthened by the sale.

The transaction will bring in NOK 116.6 million (about 9.9 million euros) for Nel. HyVC ApS, a business held by Itochu and Osaka Gas in Japan, is the buyer of the shares.


Owen Sound joins Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association

To lead clean energy projects, Owen Sound has joined the Canadian Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Association.

Hydrogen Optimized’s manufacturing and headquarters are located in Owen Sound. With the help of its RuggedCell water electrolyzers, large enterprises including chemical plants, utilities, and heavy transportation will be able to obtain carbon-free energy.


Philippe Starck in partnership with HRS creates inventive hydrogen refueling station

An inventive hydrogen refueling station has been created by renowned French designer Philippe Starck in partnership with HRS, a top European designer and producer of hydrogen stations. The design, which was unveiled at the COP28 climate conference in Dubai, focuses on a futuristic and almost undetectable look with the goal of highlighting the “nothingness” of hydrogen, a colorless gas that can replace conventional fossil fuels.

The HRS by Starck has a futuristic appearance because to its dichroic glass and mirror-polished stainless steel case. Starck wants to highlight the transparency of hydrogen by dematerializing the design and making it subtle. The dispenser is housed in a polished stainless steel box that has a glass panel that has been treated with dichroic to provide a subdued color shift.


Tata Motors receives CMVR Type Approval certificate

For its Tata Starbus 4/12 FCEV and variations, Tata Motors has received the CMVR Type Approval certificate, making it India’s first green hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle. According to ARAI, Tata Motors is the first original equipment manufacturer in India to obtain a Type Approval certificate that fully complies with all CMVR-notified requirements.
